Rokeby U10’s have been involved in two football 7-a-side tournaments over the last week. The first of these was held at King’s House on Saturday. The boys played some fantastic football, playing 4 group games, winning two of these matches. Their work rate was exceptional and the quality of the football on show was great to see. We qualified second in the group and played King’s College in the medal final, taking gold.
The second tournament was held at Charterhouse, with the boys playing 7 matches in total. They played 4 group games: winning two, drawing one and losing one. The boys qualified for the Plate competition and finished as runners-up overall. They played some great football on route to the final, scoring 10 goals in total.
A great effort from all the boys involved, and we look forward to the rest of the season!
