Tuesday saw the much-anticipated Athenaeum final between Moody and Bazalgette. The motion ‘Monuments and literature should be sanitised to reflect modern ethics and sensibilities’ was fiercely debated between the two Houses. With some thought-provoking and lively argument from both sides, the candidates handled challenging questions from the floor ably and with enthusiasm.
We were delighted to be joined by returning Athenaeum Captain, William G, and I am pleased to announce the winners were Galsworthy, represented by Joe G and Yunho N.
