How RPC funds are spent

One-third of all funds raised during the year is allocated to the school for the “nice to have” items that would fall outside the school budget.

The Rokeby Parents’ Circle work with the school to spend the funds raised on a variety of items spanning all subjects and year groups.  This has ranged from larger items such as the Year 8 Common Room (“The Den”) and drama lighting and backdrops (seen in action at the recent Peter Pan and Treasure Island productions) to Jenga blocks for wet playtimes and yoga mats for moments of calm.  The RPC also fund or contribute towards external speakers and workshops for both parents and boys.

Since September 2018 the RPC has spent over £17,000 on items for the boys.

It is important for the RPC to feedback to the parents how Rokeby has chosen to spend the money raised by you as parents. Without the support of parents in attending social events, donating gifts, baking cakes and much more, none of this amazing fundraising would be possible.

The RPC would like to thank each and every parent for their time, donations and continued support.
