RPC Fundraising

One of the Rokeby Parent Circle’s main objectives is to raise funds for the school and other charitable causes by organising enjoyable events for the whole school community.

Funds raised from RPC events are divided equally between:

1. The School (e.g. for purchasing equipment or improving facilities where such expenditure is not covered by existing budgets)

2. The RPC’s chosen charity, voted for by the boys.

The RPC’s chosen charity for 2024-25 is Sustainable Merton.

ABOUT THE CHARITY

Sustainable Merton aims to inspire, mobilise and enable our local community to take action on climate change and protect our environment for future generations.

Sustainability and wellbeing go hand in hand, so Sustainable Merton’s projects address both environmental and social goals, such as addressing the cost of living crisis and strengthening community connections. We believe that a happier, healthier, more connected community is one that will have the greatest impact.

With help from dedicated local volunteers, Sustainable Merton runs an array of community-led projects that address issues around air quality, energy, food insecurity, food growing, gardening and waste reduction.
