Christmas in the Lower School would not be the same if we didn’t have our visit from Dave Godfrey who is also known to the boys as Farmer Pete! For many years he has returned to Rokeby by popular demand to fill us with festive, maths cheer. The morning started with a welcome assembly which involved songs, dancing and acting from the boys and teachers! Throughout the day, each year group took part in various maths activities all linked to the well-known Christmas Story. They used exciting resources and maths was taught using practical fun!

The round-up assembly at the end of the day was a big hit where we learnt a little more about the Wise Men and we even cleaned the stable using key maths vocabulary. I think it is clear from the pictures that the boys and staff had a brilliant day.
