A huge thank you to every boy and teacher who got involved in this year’s Great British Spring Clean campaign. Every bag of litter removed from the environment makes a huge difference – to the environment, to our communities, and to the wildlife that makes the great outdoors their home.
Well done to the following boys for getting involved:
- Etienne R
- Yunus I
- Nicholas & Sebastian R
- Ryan S
- Max & Kai J
- Ben N
- Maximilian J
- Ruben T
- Kai S
- Oli M
- Shenel S
- Sebastian M
- Dylan F
- Crosby C C
- Arthur & Albert P
In the photo below, Sebastian M can be seen hard at work picking up plastic food containers, plastic bags and even the top of a whipped cream can!
If you’d like to do more, how about this? To mark his Coronation, King Charles is encouraging everyone to get out and volunteer in their local community. ‘The Big Help Out’ event is on Bank Holiday Monday 8th May. As part of this nationwide programme, the Wimbledon & Putney Commons Conservators would like to invite you to join in a Commons-wide litter-pick. Click here for more details.
The Youth Hostel Association is also organising a litter pick in central London. If you’re under 16, you must enrol with an adult.
