On 9th October, Years 4-6 enjoyed a fascinating Black History workshop. The boys used virtual reality to explore key individuals in the Civil Rights movement, such as Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King. They also learned about other significant figures, including Mary Jackson, a NASA scientist, and Mary Seacole, a British-Jamaican nurse who cared for wounded soldiers during the Crimean War and paved the way for diversity in nursing in the  UK.
