Rokeby boys spread Christmas cheer

On Monday, 16th December, our Year 4 choir and some of our School Council members visited Staywell Services’ day centre in Kingston, The Bradbury. The boys delivered Christmas treats from the Rokeby community and entertained elderly people enjoying the centre’s social activities. Axl sang a beautiful solo for the first verse of Once in Royal David’s City. The choir followed this with Away in A Manger, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Little Town of Bethlehem and The First Nowell. Leo, Maxim, Axl and Edward performed their LAMDA pieces, The Little Vampire and Dragon on The Downs. We finished with a rousing rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas, led by The Bradbury’s staff.
