This week, the Year 5 boys spent 3 days camping in the New Forest. Once we arrived and settled into our campsite, we hopped on our ‘tractor trailer’ to take us to our first activity; either canoeing or battlezone. The boys had great fun canoeing in small groups, being taught about different wildlife along the river and we even spotted some jellyfish! After dinner, we played some Frisbee golf and then settled down for our first night sleeping in our tents. On day 2, the boys were so excited about the day ahead they woke up at 4 am! Breakfast consisted of bacon sandwiches, croissants and cereal before we set off for a full day of fun in the forest. The boys rotated around four activities: high ropes, low ropes, archery and bushcraft. We were impressed with how the boys challenged themselves. We arrived back in camp at 5 pm for a BBQ and some campfire games.

The boys settled down at around 10 pm for their last night camping under the stars. On our final day, the boys again did either canoeing or battlezone before heading back to the campsite to pack up and get the coach home.

Well done boys, on a fantastic 3 days!
