On Saturday 29th January, Rokeby hosted the 2022 Murray Cup Competition against Cranmore School (the U13’s played their fixture on Monday 7th February), with 8 teams participating in the event (U13 A, U12 A, U11 A + B, U10 A + B and U9 A + B).
Although it was a tough morning of Rugby against a strong set of Cranmore teams, it was brilliant to see our boys perform so well and represent the school in a sporting way.
After each fixture both teams were awarded a Man of the Match Award, this award was given to the boys who displayed a standout performance on the morning (afternoon for U13’s) of the cup. This award was given to the following boys:
- U13 A – Charlie E
- U12 A – Dougal M
- U11 A – Daniel C
- U11 B – Ross D
- U10 A – Matthew T
- U10 B – Lukas H
- U9 A – Ben O
- U9 B – Lucian L
A massive well done to the boys listed, as well as all the boys who took part in the event!
