Rokeby parents donate 305 books to fill empty shelves at Kensington Aldridge Academy

Rokeby parents were quick to offer to sort through bookshelves and supply lots of good as new children’s books to help KAA to build their library. Mrs Huxley, Rokeby School's librarian, visited the school and was amazed by both the stunning architecture and new initiatives for learning, but sad to see empty book shelves. Mrs Acheson-Fenton both spearheaded the appeal and supplied the storage and delivery. Here the photo of the drop off and Vashti Turner, KAA’s very appreciative librarian, surrounded by Rokeby’s donation of 305 books!

A note from Vashti - “Thank you …There are so many brilliant books that were on my wish-list- including the 2014 Guiness World Records, and many from the Cherub series, Henderson Boys, Gladiator Boy, Astrosaurs, Tom Gates, and Young Samurai. They are definitely going to be very popular. Please thank all of the parents involved for the wonderful contribution to the KAA library.”

Well done and thank you Rokeby parents.
